Worcester, in 200l., to be paid at Michaelmas next, Tenbury grants that if Henry Halton, grocer, John Gedney, Philip Bangor, clothiers, citizens of London, and Richard Thorp, rector of St. Swithin's, London, be impleaded for the lands and tenements with ten shops annexed that were Katherine de la Pole's, and which they lately purchased, in the parishes of St. Mary Magdalene by Old Fish Street and St. Benedict by Pouleswharf at Petreslane-hende, London (except the yearly rents of 40s. due to Sir William Marny, knight, and 8s. to Christchurch, London, from the same), or any rent issuing therefrom be hereafter recovered against them by judgment of the Court at Guildhall, London, and they warn the said Forster to intervene in such plea within a quarter of a year after its commencement and they defend it at the cost of the said Forster; then the bond shall be of force, to the value of the portion of the premises recovered as aforesaid. 4 July, 7 Henry IV.
