Surrender by John Cantebregge and Richard de Cotyngham into the lord's hands, at the court of Stebenhuthe manor, of the reversion of three shops with gardens adjoining in the parish of St. Mary in Algatestret; whereupon the prior and convent of Holy Trinity, London, having obtained the lord's licence, nominate Edmund Wyllisthorpe and Thomas Goodwene, barber, to whom seisin was granted, to hold, when the reversion falls in, by the rod. At the same court came Joan and Alice, surviving daughters of Thomas Skynner, otherwise called 'Rotour' (who on Wednesday after the Circumcision, 48 Edward III., had surrendered the premises, which he held of the bishop of London, to the use of Custance his wife and Alice, Cecilia, and Joan their daughters, for life, with remainder to Cantebregge and Cotyngham), who have estate in the premises for life, and attorned the said Wyllisthorpe and Goodwene.
