Agreement by Adam de Stratton, that Robert de Abyndon may hold all the lands and tenements which the said Robert has in Creckelade, Berton, Mersheton, and Sevehampton, free from any claim by the said Adam, by the services formerly rendered to lady Isabella de Fortibus, countess of Albemarle, releasing in exchange to the said Adam, the advowson of the church of St. Sampson, Creckelade. Monday after the quinzaine of Easter, 6 Edward I.

Defeasance of a bond for 1,000 marks by Sir Robert de Kaynes, to Sir Hugh le Despenser; witnessing that if Sir Robert shall enfeoff Sir Hugh with the manors of Somerford and Cheleworth and the bailiwick of Bradene forest, for ever, and a fine be levied between them within a month of Easter next, after which the premises are to be reconveyed to Sir Robert for his life, that then the said bond shall be void. Wilts, of all the land which they have of the grant of king Henry, son of Matilda the empress, in the manor of Word (Wadley), which was formerly a member of Ferendon; with release of all their right by reason of the collation of the said manor formerly made to their monastery by Stephen, late king of England. Defeasance of a release by Sir Roger de Mortymer, lord of Wygemor, to Sir Richard, earl of Arundel, of all his right in the castle, land and lordship of Chirk, which the king, supposing the said premises to belong to him by the forfeiture of Sir Roger de Mortymer, late earl of March, has granted to Sir Richard earl of Arundel; witnessing, that whereas the said Roger, lord of Wygemor, as cousin and heir to the said earl of March, is seeking to obtain the reversal of the said forfeiture, if the king or the said Sir Roger, lord of Wygemore, shall compensate the said earl of Arundel with other land of the same value, within two years after the reversal of the said forfeiture, or if the said forfeiture be affirmed, that then the said release is to be re-delivered to the said lord of Wygemor, and be void.
