I believe this misfortune of yours will prove to be a good touchstone to distinguish the true gold from the false. Those who love the great are mostly like the plant called heliotrope, which while the sun shines looks towards it with flowers alive and open, but when the sun sets it closes them and looks another way, etc, etc. 24 Dec. 1611.
