John Austen to the Earl of Salisbury.
[? After October 9, 1608]. Letters were brought from the Lord President of Munster to the Mayor of Bristol to be conveyed immediately to Salisbury. Petitioner was asked by the Mayor to carry them to London. He did so, and upon his return to Bristol he requested the Mayor to compensate him for the journey which had cost him £5.
