Westminster.
To the sheriff of Salop. Order to allow to Rhys (Reso) ap Howel respite until Whitsuntide for payment of 35l., arrears of a debt of 100l. that he owed to Walter, bishop of Coventry and Lichfield, treasurer of the late king, by recognisance made before the barons of the exchequer, which debt is in the king's hands with other debts of the said bishop.
