Nov. 1.
Ribstone.
John Aylward came before the king, on Saturday the feast of All Saints, and sought to replevy to William Russel, of Bernardesworthy, the said William's land in Bernardesworthy, taken into the king's hands for the default that he made before the sheriff of Somerset in his county [court] against William Duram, of Stok Curcy. This is signified to the said sheriff.

Ribstone.
To the treasurer and barons of the exchequer of Dublin. Order to allow to William de Caunteton respite until Midsummer for debts due to him, which respite the king has granted to him. They are to release to him any distress they may have levied for the same. By p.s. [763.]

Windsor.
To the bailiffs of Lynne. Order to restore to their owners, Snarre and Baarde (Borde) de Facstede, of Norway, two ships arrested by them with goods of the merchants of Norway to the value of 95l., in execution of the king's order to arrest goods to that amount until Richard de Fakenham and Nicholas his brother, burgesses of Lynne, had been satisfied for 175l., the value of their ship and goods taken and detained from them in Norway, the king of Norway having failed to do them justice; taking from the said merchants of Norway security to answer to the said Richard and Nicholas for the said 95l., to be paid in the quinzaine of Easter next, if they ought to pertain to the said Richard and Nicholas.

John son of Walter de Yucflet acknowledges that he owes to William de Thorntoft, clerk, 20l.; to be levied, in default of payment, of his lands and chattels in co. York.
Guichard de Stubbes acknowledges that he owes to William de Skelton 4 marks; to be levied, in default of payment, of his lands and chattels in co. York.

Pocklington.
John de Waltham, who served the late king, is sent to the abbot and convent of Revesby for the necessaries of life for himself and a groom and for one robe yearly for his life. By p.s.

Robert de Etton, who served the late king, is sent to the abbot and convent of Meaux (Mels') to receive the necessaries of life in food and clothing for his lifetime. By p.s.

Sherburn in Elmet.
Hugh de Sutton acknowledges that he owes to Isabella, late the wife of William de Vescy, 20 marks; to be levied, in default of payment, of his lands and chattels in co. Northampton.

Thomas de Bykenore, knight, acknowledges that he owes to John de Geygrave, clerk, 30 marks; to be levied, in default of payment, of his lands and chattels in co. Salop.

Andrew de Lenne acknowledges that he owes to William de la Lee 100l.; to be levied, in default of payment, of his lands and chattels in co. Kent.

Thomas Barry, of Bochampton, acknowledges that he owes to Master John Pomeray, clerk, 150 marks; to be levied, in default of payment, of his lands and chattels in co. Berks.
John de Boudon acknowledges that he owes to John, bishop of Chichester, 40l.; to be levied, in default of payment, of his lands and chattels in co. Sussex.

Sherburn in Elmet.
Robert de la Naperie, who served the king, and who was maimed in the king's service so that he cannot work any more, is sent to the prior and convent of St. Mary without Bysshopesgate, to receive for his life the necessaries of life in food and clothing and a chamber to dwell in.
