To the collectors of wool in co. Lincoln. Order to supersede the exaction made upon the dean and chapter of St. Mary's, Lincoln, for wool by reason of the lands of the bishopric in their custody, until the octaves of Hilary next, so that after deliberation has been taken with the council, the king may cause what seems reasonable to be done, as the dean and chapter have besought the king to order such exaction to be superseded, as all the temporalities of the bishopric, in the king's hand by the death of Henry the late bishop, are delivered to them by virtue of a grant to them by the late king of the custody of the bishopric and all its temporalities during voidances, for rendering 1,000l. a year, at which the bishopric is taxed, during the voidance, and divers sums of wool are exacted of them by reason of those temporalities, and if they are charged with such wool they will not suffice for the payment of the said 1,000l.
