To the abbot of Malmesbury. Although the king summoned him to attend a parliament to be held at Westminster on the octaves of the Purification next, yet at the request of Roger de Bello Campo the king has discharged him for this turn of coming to that parliament.

John de Wesenham, merchant, acknowledges that he owes to Bernardettus lord of Albret (de Lebreto), and to Bernard de Saltu, 3,000 florins de l'ecu (de scuto) of the ancient coin of France; to be levied, in default of payment, of his lands and chattels in the city of London.

Simon son of Bartholomew Sauvage of the parish of Stokebury of Kent, acknowledges that he owes to Peter Haunsard, citizen of London, and to John de Middelton of that county, 100l.; to be levied etc. in Kent.

Simon de Swanlond, knight, and John Aignel acknowledge that they owe to Geoffrey de Aston 10l.; to be levied etc. in Middlesex.
