To Richard de Kelleshull. Order to have all the records and processes determined and not determined before himself, William Scot and their fellows, justices for gaol delivery at Neugate gaol, before William de Thorp, himself and their fellows upon the next gaol delivery and to proceed to that delivery in accordance with the law and custom of the realm, as divers processes concerning the death of Thomas Baroun and other felonies begun against Richard de Tiffeld, Alice his wife and several other prisoners in the said gaol, are not yet determined before Richard, William Scot and their said fellows, and William de Thorp, Richard and their fellows, now justices for that gaol delivery cannot proceed to the same without the said processes which are in Richard's custody, it is said, and the king does not wish the prisoners to be unduly aggrieved by a longer detention in the said gaol.
Enrolment of grant by John Porter of Berkyng to John son of Henry de Padmere and Thomas Smith (fabro) of Berkyng, clerk, of all the lands and rents which he held in the town of Berkyng. Witnesses: Alexander Betoygne, John Sampkyn, William Malmeyns, John Malmeyns, of Cranebrok, Adam atte Helle, Nicholas le clerk, John Coupere. Dated at Berkyng on Thursday after St. Bartholomew, 23 Edward III.
Memorandum that John Porter came into chancery at Westminster on 1 December and acknowledged the preceding deed.
