Westminster.
To the treasurer and the chamberlains for the time being. Order to pay to Richard Wydewille lord Ryvers and Jaquetta duchess of Bedford his wife during the life of the said Jaquetta a yearly rent of 333 marks 4s. 5¾d. and the third part of one farthing, and the arrears since the assignment of her dower; as among divers manors, lands, annuities, knights' fees, advowsons, rents, services, farms, customs, woods etc. to the said Richard and Jaquetta assigned as her dower after the death of John duke of Bedford her husband, they had and enjoyed the said yearly rent at the receipt of the exchequer in Westminster co. Middlesex, and the same was to them assigned by the late escheator, as appears by a record remaining in chancery; and for particular causes which concern the royal power the king lately caused that rent to be seized into his hands; and pondering the estate of the said duchess and Richard, by letters patent of 10 December, 1 Edward IV, he granted to them for term of her life all the said manors, lands, annuities etc. from the time of the said assignment, with liberties, profits, revenues etc. by the hands of the receivers, men, tenants, farmers or occupiers thereof for the time being.

To the receiver of the duchy of Cornwall for the time being. Like order, mutatis mutandis, concerning a yearly sum of 444l. 8s. 10½d. at the receipt of the said duchy.

To the sheriff of Bedford and Buckingham for the time being. Like order, mutatis mutandis, concerning 20l. a year of the issues, farms etc. of those counties.

To the receivers, men, tenants, farmers or occupiers for the time being of the manor of Pourestoke or the fee farm of the said manor in Pourestoke co. Dorset. Like order, mutatis mutandis, concerning a third part of 18l. a year rent of the said manor or fee farm, amounting to 6l. a year.
To the receivers etc. for the time being of the lands of Eustace Burneby in Watford co. Northampton. Order to pay to the said Richard and Jaquetta 20l. a year during her life, and the arrears from the date of the grant; as by grant of 18 June, 18 Henry [VI], among other things they did enjoy that rent of the lands aforesaid, subject to a proviso that they should be barred of all claim to dower by death of John duke of Bedford in towns, manors, lands etc. in Shilbotle, Gysyns, Renyngton and the bailiwick of Benley, Fawdon, Pruddhowe and other towns in Northumberland therein specified, as appears by divers records remaining in chancery and by the enrolment of the late king's letters patent therein; and for particular causes which concern the royal power the king lately caused the said rent to be seized into his hands, and pondering the estate of the said Jaquetta, by letters patent of 10 December, 1 Edward IV, he did grant the same to the said Richard and Jaquetta for her life from the date of the late king's grant.

To the receivers etc. for the time being of the manor of Gretton co. Northampton. Like order, mutatis mutandis, concerning a yearly rent of 25l. of that manor.

To the receivers etc. for the time being of the issues of all assarts, wastes and purprestures arrented between the bridges of Stamford and Oxford. Like order, mutatis mutandis, concerning a yearly rent of 16l. 17d. of the issues aforesaid.

To the receivers etc. for the time being of the manor and town of Briggestoke co. Northampton. Like order, mutatis mutandis, concerning a yearly rent of 20l. of the issues, revenues and profits of that manor and town, enjoyed by grant of 13 November, 19 Henry VI, in recompense for a third part of two thirds the manor of Canford co. Dorset, two-thirds of the manor of Wynterburne Erles and the borough or town of Wilton co. Wiltshire, and the manor of Charleton Camvile co. Somerset which the said Richard and Jaquetta held in dower, as appears etc. (as above).

To the receivers etc. for the time being of the manor of Corby co. Northampton. Like order, mutatis mutandis, concerning 56s. 1d. a year of the farm, issues, revenues and profits of that manor.

To the receivers etc. for the time being of the farms, issues, profits and revenues of all assarts, purprestures and small parcels of forest in the forests between Stamford bridges and Oxford bridges, and of all farms and rents of assarts, wastes, purprestures, soil, land and pasture arrented between those bridges in Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire. Like order, mutatis mutandis, concerning 43l. 18s. 7d. a year of the farms etc. aforesaid.

To the sheriff of York for the time being. Order every year to pay to John Thirske of York merchant and John Fereby yeoman of the crown 6d. a day during their lives and the life of the longest liver, and to pay them the arrears since 22 November last, on which date the king granted to them for their lives etc. the keeping of the whole pool or water of Fosse in the county of the city of York and the county of York, to be occupied by themselves or by deputy with all profits etc. thereto pertaining in time of King Edward III and Richard II, as fully as any person had heretofore, and granting to them the fees and wages of old time due and accustomed without rendering account or aught else to the king or his heirs; and in the great roll of 43 Edward III, it is found that 6d. a day was allowed at the exchequer for wages severally to John de Thornton and John de Berden for keeping of the Fosse pool.
