Westminster.
To the chief butler of England or his deputy for the time being. Order every year to deliver to the king's servants John Langley esquire one of the ushers of his chamber and Margaret his wife during their lives and the life of the longest liver one tun of wine at Martinmas, which for their good service to the prince his father and to himself the king has granted them.

Westminster.
To the warden for the time being of the change and mint within the Tower of London. Order every year to pay to Edmund Shaa citizen and goldsmith of London 7s. for making and graving of every dozen of irons for coins used within the Tower, the realm and the town of Calais, and to pay him the arrears thereof; as by letters patent of 26 February, 2 Edward IV, the king granted to him for life from 4 March, 1 Edward IV, the office of graver of the irons for money and coins of gold and silver in the Tower, the realm and Calais, to be occupied by himself or by deputy, taking for graving of the same for moneys carried within the Tower the wages and fees of old time due and accustomed, and all other wages, profits, rewards, advantages, customs etc. to that office pertaining as fully as any occupant thereof heretofore had; and in the account of Augustine Waleys warden of the change of London and Canterbury, from 1 October, 13 Edward II, to 30 August, 14 Edward II, there was allowed to John Botetourt knight, who had to wife [Maud] daughter and heir of Thomas son of Otho, for making and graving of nine and twenty dozen irons used at London and Canterbury during that time 10l. 13s. (sic), to wit 7s. a dozen; and in the account of John de Wyndesore warden of the change of London and Canterbury, from 19 January at the end of 4 Edward III in the beginning of 5 Edward III, to William Latymer, who had it of the feoffment of Maud who was wife of John de Botetourt daughter and heir of Thomas son of Otho of whom it was in fee to cut the dies, 14s. for graving and making of two dozen dies, as appears by certificate of the treasurer and the barons of the exchequer sent into parliament by command of the king.

To the sheriff of Cambridge and Huntingdon for the time being. Order every year to pay to John Rokley esquire the king's serjeant 12d. a day during his life; and to pay him the arrears since 1 January last; as the king has granted to him among other things the office of one of his serjeants at arms for life, taking from 1 January last, on which day he was one of them, 12d. a day of the farms, issues, profits and revenues of the said counties.

To the abbot and convent of Rufford for the time being. Order to pay to William Spenser 10l. a year for life and the arrears since 28 April, 4 Edward IV, on which date the king granted to him for life an annuity of 10l., parcel of 20l. due to the king of a mediety of the church of Rotherham co. York.

To the sheriff of Wiltshire for the time being. Order every year to pay to John Broune the king's servant, yeoman of his kitchen, 6d. a day during his life, and to pay him the arrears since 20 July last, on which date the king granted to him for life the office of ranger of the forest of Grovele, to be occupied by himself or by deputy, taking of the issues, profits and revenues of that county such wages and fees as were allowed to John de Knottyngle ranger therein in time of King Edward III; and in 38 Edward III, wages of 6d. a day were allowed to John Knottyngle, as appears by certificate of the treasurer and the barons of the exchequer sent into chancery by command of the king.

To the sheriff of Somerset and Dorset for the time being. Order every year to pay to Thomas Tiryngham esquire 6d. a day during his life, and to pay him the arrears thereof; as by letters patent of 3 February last the king granted to him for life the office of the 'westbailly' within the forest of Purbyk co. Dorset, to be occupied by himself or by deputy, with all fees and wages of old time due and accustomed, to be taken of the issues, profits and revenues of the said counties; and in 36 Edward III, among divers allowances to Thomas Bridport late sheriff of Somerset and Dorset, 6d. a day was allowed him for wages of Richard de Pupplyngton then one of the foresters in the said forest, and in 11 Richard II, to John Rodenay late sheriff for wages of the said Richard, as appears by certificate etc. (as above).

To the abbot and convent of Malmesbury co. Wiltshire and their successors, the sheriff of Wiltshire or other the receivers for the time being of the farm of the town of Malmesbury. Order to pay to queen Elizabeth 20l. a year for life and the arrears since Michaelmas, 4 Edward IV; as the king has granted to her for life from that feast 20l. a year of the farm of the said town with the three hundreds thereto pertaining.

To Hugh Tyrell, brother and heir of John Tyrell, and to his heirs, the sheriff of Stafford or other the receivers for the time being of the keeping of the manors of Kynefare and Storton and of the forest of Kynefare. Like order for payment to the queen, of 9l. a year of the keeping of the said manors and forest, which Edward atte Woode the king's yeoman held during the life of Henry de Mortuo Mari by grant of the said Henry, and the arrears since Michaelmas, 4 Edward IV.

To the abbot and convent of Halesowyn, the sheriff of Stafford or other the receivers for the time being of the manor of Roweley co. Stafford. Like order to pay to the queen 10l. 6s. 8d. a year for life and the arrears since Michaelmas, 4 Edward IV.

To the mayor, bailiffs and burgesses of Cambridge, the sheriff of Huntingdon and Cambridge, or other the receivers for the time being of the farm or ancient farm of that town and the increase thereof. Like order to pay to the queen 105 marks a year for life and the arrears since Michaelmas, 4 Edward IV,

To Roger Beller, the sheriff of Warwick and Leicester or other the receivers for the time being of the form of the hundred of Framlond. Like order to pay to the queen 12l. 18s. 5½d. a year for life and the arrears since Michaelmas, 4 Edward IV.
To the men of Shrewsbury, their heirs and successors, the sheriff of Salop or other the receivers for the time being of the farm of that town. Order to pay to the queen 20l. 17s. 6d. a year for life and the arrears since Michaelmas, 4 Edward IV.

To the heirs of John Hastynges earl of Pembroke, the sheriffs of Huntingdon, Cambridge, Bedford, Buckingham and Northampton, the farmers, occupiers or receivers for the time being of the farm of the honour of Peverell, Boulogne and Hagenet. Like order to pay to the queen for life 108s. 4d. a year of the said farm, the castle and honour of Huntingdon and the members which were of the said earl, the courts, leets, views of frankpledge, liberties, customs, profits etc. thereto pertaining.
To Nicholas de Audeley, brother and heir of Thomas son and heir of James de Audeley, the sheriff of Salop, the farmers, receivers or occupiers for the time being of the fee farm of the manor of Forde. Like order to pay to the queen 12l. a year and the arrears since Michaelmas, 4 Edward IV.
To Nicholas de Segrave, the sheriff of Warwick and Leicester or other the receivers for the time being of the farm of Kyngton. Order to pay to the queen 12l. a year for life which the king has granted to her of the said farm, and the arrears since Michaelmas, 4 Edward IV.

To the heirs of Richard Dammory, the sheriff of Oxford or Buckingham or other the receivers for the time being of the farm of two thirds and one third the manor of Godyngton (sic) cos. Oxford and Berkshire. Order to pay to the queen 10l. a year of the said farm and the arrears since Michaelmas, 4 Edward IV.

To the abbess and convent of Shaftesbury and their successors, the sheriff of Somerset and Dorset or other the receivers for the time being of the farm or keeping of the town of Shaftesbury. Like order to pay to the queen 12l. a year for life and the arrears since Michaelmas, 4 Edward IV.

To Nicholas de Segrave, the sheriff of Warwick and Leicester or other the receivers for the time being of the farm of the wapentake of Goscote. Like order to pay to the queen 100s. a year for life and the arrears since Michaelmas, 4 Edward IV.

To the escheator in Derbyshire. Order to give Richard Sapcote knight and Isabel his wife livery of a messuage, 40 acres of land and 10 acres of meadow in Hasilwode, four messuages, 50 acres of land and 10 acres of meadow in Osmanston, a toft, 6 acres of land and 2 acres of meadow in Normanton, and 20l. of rent in Cotton; as it is found by inquisition, taken before John Neville esquire late escheator, that John Franceys knight was seised of the premises, and granted the same to Henry Pole, Ralph Pole, John Curson, John Stathum, Thomas Bradfeld and Roger Foljambe, their heirs and assigns, that the rest died, and the said Henry overlived them and was thereof seised by survivorship, that he made a grant of the same to the said John Franceys and Isabel his wife and to the heirs of their bodies, with remainder to the right heirs of John Franceys, that they had issue three daughters, namely Joan the elder, Alice and Joan the younger, that John Fraunceys died, and Isabel overlived him and is seised of the premises by survivorship, that she has taken Richard Sapcote to be her husband, and is now under his coverture, and that the premises are held of the king as of his castle or lordship of Melburne co. Leicester, which is parcel of the duchy of Lancaster; and the king has taken the fealty of Richard Sapcote and Isabel.
