Edmund Denys, husbondman of South Creke co. Norfolk, to Nicholas Lathell 'gentilman' and Thomas Denys chaplain, each of London, their executors and assigns. Gift of all his goods and chattels in the county of Norfolk and elsewhere within the realm: and he has put them in possession thereof by delivery of 4d. Dated 6 November, 12 Edward IV.

Deposition by John Wodehull esquire and Herry Etwell before the king in chancery, that they have sold the manor of Little Durneford by Stratford co. Wilts to Thomas Tropenell alone, and that they have granted no estate of the same to other persons, nor concealed any evidence concerning the same, but have delivered to him all evidences etc. in their possession: nor have they at any time burdened the manor with any rent charges, nor to their knowledge is the land bound to any person by reason of any statute merchant of the staple or recovery, which might prejudice the said Thomas Tropenell or his heirs: and this deposition exemplified under the Great Seal is open to all to read. In witness whereof etc. Dated 12 May, 14 Edward IV.

Letter of attorney of William Lovell lord Morley appointing John Martyn the younger, Gilbert Walter, John Dawnce and Christopher Holland as his attorneys etc. to enter the manor of Shobyndon co. Buckingham, and to remove therefrom all farmers and tenants for life, and take seisin thereof in his name: since the said manor with four messuages, six tofts, 100 acres of land, 10 acres of meadow, 10 acres of pasture, 30 acres of wood and 60s. of rent, descended to him and his heirs by default of heirs of the body of Ralph Butteller knight and Alice late his wife, the mother of the said William Lovell: and in default of heirs to Henry Lovell esquire his brother, by virtue of a fine in the king's court at Westminster on St. John the Baptist's day, 6 Edward IV, before Robert Danby justice of the Bench, between Richard Fouler and Thomas Wodde pursuers and Ralph Butteller and Alice his wife the forciants. Dated 12 April, 14 Edward IV.

Memorandum that on 14 May of this year a writ was delivered to the sheriff of Devon, ordering him to attach the bodies of William Bretyn and Thomas Olyver monks, wherever they might be found within his jurisdiction, so that they appear before the king in chancery in the octaves of Trinity next, under penalty of 1000l. to answer what charges shall be brought against them. Dated 13 May, 14 Edward IV.

Wilts, of which the said John Salwey was seised in his demesne as of fee, by virtue of a recovery against the said Thomas Tropenell, by writ of entry in disseisin before Thomas Brian justice of the Common Bench and the other parties recently held. Gloucester, which the said Edmund had by gift of Richard Mydelton clerk and Thomas Spycer of Cirencestre as in a charter is more fully contained. Dated 15 May, 14 Edward IV.
