Westminster.
To the escheator in Sussex. Order to remove the king's hand and meddle no further with a third part of the manor of Buxhull, held at his death by John de Monte Acuto late earl of Salisbury, delivering to Maud late his wife any issues thereof taken since the earl's death; as at her petition etc. (as above, last page), it is found by inquisition, taken before the escheator, that he held the same as of her dower of the lands of Alan Buxhull knight sometime her husband, and that it is held of others than the king.
