To the escheator in Essex. Order to give Elizabeth late the wife of Thomas duke of Norffolk, whose fealty the king has commanded the prior of Newenham to take, livery of the manor of Pritelwelle and the issues thereof taken since the duke's death; as the king has learned by inquisition, taken by the escheator, that at his death the duke held that manor as jointly enfeoffed with her by gift of Richard late earl of Arundell her father to them and the heirs of their bodies, and that it was held of the late king by knight service as of the honour of Reylyghe; and for 40s. paid in the hanaper the king has respited her homage until Michaelmas next.
