Nov. 5.
Westminster.
To the sheriff of Kent for the time being. Order every year to pay 6d. a day to John Lyntoft, and to pay him the arrears since 5 November last (sic), on which date the king confirmed letters patent whereby the late king granted to the said John 6d. a day of the issues of that county for life or until that king should take other order for his estate, with proviso that he should make a release of his wages of 3d. a day which he ought to take for his abode within the household.
