Feb. 11.
Westminster.
To William Gascoigne and his fellows, justices appointed to hold pleas before the king. Order by writ of nisi prius to cause an inquisition whereupon William Prys vicar of Daventre has put himself, being indicted for felony, to be taken before the said justices or one of them, before one of the justices of the Common Bench, or one of the justices of assize in Norhamptonshire.
Feb. 17.
Westminster.
To the collectors for the time being of the custom and subsidy upon wool, hides and woolfells in the port of London. Order to pay to Henry Botquenezlle of Brittany the king's esquire 40l. a year for life and the arrears since 12 April last, on which date the king granted him for life 40l. a year of the issues of that custom and subsidy, having retained the said Henry for life with him. To the chief butler for the time being, or his representative. Order to deliver to Ralph Shelton knight and Alice his wife two tuns of red wine of Gascony of the first vintage at Easter next, and two tuns a year for their lives and the life of the longest liver which the king has granted them in the port of Lenne, paying the king's prise for the same.
