To the mayor and bailiffs of Leycestre. Order upon their allegiance
and under pain of forfeiture, for urgent causes nearly affecting the
king and the estate of the realm, upon sight etc. to cause themselves
and all other the men able to travail dwelling within that town and
the liberty thereof to be armed, arrayed, furnished and made ready,
every one according to his estate, and with them and others likewise
arrayed to draw with all speed towards the king, to act as at their

Order every year to pay to Agnes Beaufaire during her life 4d. a day,
and to pay the arrears since 20 November last, on which date for
relief of her poor estate the king granted her for life 4d. a day of the
said custom. |
