Westminster.
To the sheriff of Essex. Writ of supersedeas omnino, by mainprise of Thomas de Lee, William Rokesburgh, John Hervy and John Lavenham of Essex, in favour of John Baldewyn, John Meryweder and John Fyssher, in respect of the execution of any command of the justices of the peace at suit of Richard Symond; as the said Thomas and the others have mainperned in chancery under a pain of 100 marks that the defendants shall do or procure him no hurt or harm.

To the sheriffs of London. Writ of supersedeas, by mainprise of Walter Coke of Bedfordshire, John Herynge, Reymund Hikelynge of Middlesex and John Barneby of London 'draper,' in favour of Richard Moushacche and Christina who was wife of Thomas Bereford, being executors of the said Thomas, and Margaret who was wife of William Bereford, at suit of Richard Walworth, Agnes his wife, John Mersshe and Beatrice his wife for render of two chests with charters, writings and muniments therein.

To the sheriff of York. Writ of supersedeas, by mainprise of Richard de Beverle, John de Kelke the younger and William de Beaucastelle of Yorkshire, in favour of William de Dent of Hanlaghby at suit of John Takelle prior of Warter for debt.
To the same. Like writ in favour of William Brigge of Kyngeston upon Hull at suit of John Bakeworth.
To the same. Like writ in favour of William Inglys and Thomas Troll at suit of the prior of Watton for an account.
Edward son of Thomas de Frankeley to William Sulneye esquire and John Alrewyche, their heirs and assigns. Quitclaim with warranty of the manor of Frankeley, and of all other lands, woods, stews, mills, villeins and all that goes with them, now held by the said William and John by grant of Alice who was wife of Thomas Stafforde. Witnesses: Thomas Burdet knight, Thomas Crwe, John Slyghe, Roger atte Leegh, John Colmour. Dated Frankeley, Saturday after St. James the Apostle 3 Henry IV.
Memorandum of acknowledgment at the monastery of Hales Oweyn 8 October this year before the abbot of Hales Oweyn, by virtue of a dedimus potestatem which is on the chancery file for this year.

To the treasurer and the barons of the exchequer. Writ of supersedeas omnino in respect of any process against William Boneville knight, appointed with others to make inquisition in Devon concerning sums of money whatsoever due to the king for the alnage of cloths in Devon in time of the late king and in his own time which were concealed and withdrawn, by whom and when it was done, but order to proceed against such as did meddle therein; as that commission came not to the said William's hands, neither had he knowledge of it, as he has made oath in chancery.

To the treasurer and the barons of the exchequer. Writ of supersedeas until the morrow of St. Martin next in respect of their demand upon the escheator in Roteland or the late escheator to answer for the issues of the manor of 'Market Overton'; as a plea is pending in chancery between the king and Henry earl of Northumberland, Thomas earl of Worcester, Maud de Veer countess of Oxford and Henry de Percy knight concerning that manor, whether it ought to pertain to the king or to them.
John son of John de Bures and of Alice his wife, being heir of the said Alice, to John de Rookwode, William Coppedoo, Robert Rysby, Geoffrey Caily, Richard Hethe and John Weston, their heirs and assigns. Quitclaim with warranty of a moiety of the manors of Stybryde, 'North Reppes,' 'South Reppes' and 'Bourehalle' in Hillyngton and a moiety of the advowsons of the churches of Stybryde and Little Hobeys. Witnesses: Thomas Drewe mayor of Bishops Lenne, John Wace, Thomas Waterdene, Lawrence Trussebut, Thomas Trussebut. Dated Lenne aforesaid, 1 March 22 Richard II.
