To the sheriffs of London. Writ of supersedeas, and order by mainprise of William atte Welle 'brewer,' John Lucas 'saltmeter,' John Clerke 'cornemeter,' John Wylde and Walter Russell, all of London, to set free Thomas White of London, if taken at suit of Richard Fooche for render of chattels to the value of 40s.
John de la Pole clerk, brother of Michael de la Pole earl of Suffolk, to John Conyers of Horneby, Richard Norton, Gilbert Elvet, Lawrence de Middelton vicar of Brynyston and John Frytheby chaplain, their heirs and assigns. Quitclaim with warranty of all lands, rents, services, profits etc. in Solbergh upon Wyske, Neweby, Maunby and elsewhere within the liberty of Rychemonde co. York which they have by grant of the said earl. Dated 20 March 5 Henry IV.

To the sheriff of Stafford. Order for particular causes to cause proclamation to be made, that all knights, esquires, yeomen and other fencible men who by gift or grant of the king have for life any fees, annuities, lands or other yearly profits shall, under pain of forfeiting the same hasten and draw to the city of London in person to the king's presence, furnished, armed and arrayed as their estate requires, and that such of them as for age or infirmity are unable to travail shall send other fencible men of their estate, so that they be there on 14 April next ready to march with the king to resist the rebels and his enemies wheresoever he shall march, or sooner if meanwhile their coming to his presence shall be needful.
