Westminster.
To the escheator in Somerset. Order to take the fealty of the said Edmund (sic), and to give Matthew White and Joan his wife seisin of a messuage and 2½ acres of land in Thorncoffyn; as the king has learned by inquisition, taken by the escheator, that Agnes Verlegh, one of the daughters and heirs of Alice Verlegh tenant of the heir of Edmund de Clivedoun knight tenant in chief, at her death held the premises of the said Edmund by knight service, and that the said Joan is her cousin and next heir, and of full age.
