Westminster.
To the farmer, receiver or occupier of the king's manor and lordship of Spofford for the time being. Order every year of the issues and and revenues thereof to pay to Nicholas de Halle 1d. a day for life; as Henry late earl of Northumberland, when he was the king's true liege, by letters patent gave the said Nicholas for life one of the offices of parker within that park with all fees, wages etc. thereto usually belonging and 1d. a day in addition; and the king has given that office to John Robynson one of the yeomen of his chamber, and in recompense has given the said Nicholas for life 1d. a day as aforesaid, the manor and lordship being in the king's hands by forfeiture and rebellion of the earl.
