Westminster.
To the treasurer and the barons of the exchequer. Writ of supersedeas in respect of any process against Thomas Bonham, appointed with others a justice to make inquisition in Somerset what lands of John de Monte Acuto late earl of Salisbury, who forfeited to the king, are from him concealed, and in Wiltesir what neifs, men and tenants in neifty of Sibyl prioress of Ambresbury and lady of the manor of Melkesham did there at the procurement of their counsellors, maintainers and abettors withdraw and refuse to perform the customs and services to her due for their holdings, but order to proceed against others who did meddle therein; as those commissions were not delivered to the said Thomas, as witness is borne in chancery on his behalf.

Writ of supersedeas omnino in respect of any process against Rose who was wife and is executrix of William Rikhille, appointed with others to make inquisition concerning all goods and merchandise of aliens and natives in the port of Suthampton and singular the ports and places adjacent, or against other his executors or the tenants of his lands, but order to proceed against others who did meddle therein; as that commission came not to his hands, as witness is borne in chancery.

To Thomas Yonge, David Holbache, Walter de Hopton and Robert de Thornes, appointed to make inquisition in Salop and the march of Wales adjacent concerning trespasses, contempts, oppressions, misprisions, deceptions, extortions, maintenances of quarrels, damages, grievances, waste and sale of woods and underwoods, vert and venison whatsoever within the lordship of Caux castle from the time the same came to the king's hand by the death of Edmund earl of Stafford and by reason of the nonage of Humphrey his son and heir until now, by whomsoever and howsoever committed, and concerning all knights' fees, advowsons, wards, marriages, reliefs, escheats, deodands, forfeitures, escapes of thieves and felons and other profits therein which were concealed from the king or from Queen Joan, to whom the king has granted that lordship until the full age of the heir, and other articles and circumstances which affect the same. Writ of supersedeas; as for particular causes the king after by other letters patent appointed the said David with Robert atte Legh and Roger Thornes to execute that commission.

Writ of supersedeas omnino in respect of any process against John Swan of Wyrmynton, appointed with others collector in Norhamptonshire of one whole fifteenth and tenth and the moiety of one fifteenth and tenth granted to the king by the commons in the last parliament, but order to proceed against Thomas Hampton of Twywelle and the other collectors; as for particular causes the king has discharged John Swan, appointing Thomas Hampton in his stead.

William de Flete to Katherine daughter of John Chilterne and sometime wife of John Gloucestre. Surrender of his estate in the manor of Brittewell and lands (above mentioned) which, by charter of feoffment dated Watforde 7 January last she gave him during her life, subject to a rent of 100s. a year. Writ of supersedeas omnino in respect of any process against William Mesheton, appointed with others a collector in Salop of one whole fifteenth and tenth and the moiety of a fifteenth and tenth granted to the king by the commons in the last parliament, but order to proceed against others who did meddle therein; as for particular causes the king discharged the said William, commanding him to meddle no further therein, and the other collectors to levy the same without awaiting his presence, and to deal as if he were not so discharged. Proviso that, if he has collected aught, he shall give it up at the exchequer.

John Stephenes citizen and draper of London and Thomas Derlonde citizen and fishmonger, son and heir of John Derlonde sometime of the parish of Gelyngham co. Kent. Indenture of defeasance of a charter of feoffment, dated this day at Gelyngham, whereby Thomas Derlonde has given to John Stephenes, his heirs and assigns, all his lands, rents and services etc. in the parish of Gelyngham and elsewhere in Kent upon condition that the said Thomas, his heirs or executors, pay 43 marks to the said John, his heirs or executors, or to their attorney, namely 5 marks 5s. at Christmas next, 5 marks 5s. at Easter following, 5 marks 5s. at Midsummer following, 5 marks 5s. at Michaelmas following, and so from feast to feast until all be fully paid, and it shall then be lawful for him, his heirs and assigns, again to enter and hold the premises in his first estate, that charter and seisin thereupon had notwithstanding.
