To the sheriffs of London. Writ of supersedeas, and order by mainprise of Peter Feriby 'iremonger,' Adam Ferrour 'wodemonger,' both of London, William Knottyngle of Yorkshire and Richard Arches of Berkshire to set free Nicholas Hasylholte, if taken at suit of William Cosyn clerk averring threats.
Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 100 marks, made in chancery 22 May this year by Thomas Halle citizen and mercer of London, Richard Geddynge of Essex esquire, Stephen Norwode, Roger Russell citizen and mercer of London, Thomas Corbet of Essex and John Santon of Yorkshire for Edmund Thelnetham the younger, and of an undertaking by him under a pain of 100l., that he shall do or procure no hurt or harm to John de Bokenham or any of the people.

John de Bert of Florence to the king. Recognisance for 100l., to be levied etc. in the city of London.
Memorandum of defeasance, upon condition that John Bert shall at his own cost cause three pieces of gold for a candlestick to be worked of his own gold of the same assay, the same weight and as good as three other pieces of another like candlestick now are, and that by appointment and discretion of Thomas Beaufort the chancellor, and that when the same shall be finished the king shall pay him 40l. in full, and shall take delivery thereof, as agreed by John Bert coming of his own will before the chancellor on 30 April 12 Henry IV; as in pledge for a sum of money he received three pieces of gold for a candlestick by the hands of Christopher Tildesley late the king's goldsmith, and they are now broken up, eloigned or sold, so that he may not deliver them up, as he says. [French.]

Condition, that upon warning received they shall have Thomas Lady, born in Scotland it is said, before Thomas Beaufort the chancellor at a set day when required.

John Wode and John Derby of Worcestershire to Thomas Crafte citizen and 'iremonger' of London. Recognisance for 80l., to be levied etc. in Worcestershire.
Condition, that John Wode, John Braas and Thomas Whitenhurste clerk, executors of Henry Wybbe, shall abide and perform the award of William Gascoigne chief justice of the Bench and William Thirnynge chief justice of the Common Bench in respect of all actions etc. between them and Robert Wedyton citizen and grocer of London concerning lands etc. called the 'Fresshewharfe' in the parish of St. Botolph London, and of a statute staple to the said Henry made by Richard Honyman and John Arnold, or the execution thereof upon the said lands, and if those justices may not agree, the award of Sir Thomas Beauforde the chancellor; and proviso that the award of the justices be made before the feast of Allhallows next, and of the chancellor before Christmas.
John Bydforde, son and heir of Thomas Bydforde, to Henry Hert citizen and draper of London and Joan his wife, their heirs and assigns. Quitclaim with warranty of the manor and advowson of Stokyngpelham, and all the lands, rents and services in Stokyngpelham, Furneuxpelham, Brendepelham and Aldebury co. Hertforde called Wildenwodes, Nydelys and Reuebys, all which they have by demise of John Barle the younger, Nicholas Hywysshe and Richard Osberne; and general release of all actions, claims and demands.
