Westminster.
To the sheriff of Wiltesir for the time being. Order, notwithstanding the preference of 10,000l. given to the king in the parliament lately holden at Westminster, to pay to Edward duke of York, who has taken to wife Philippa wife of John Golafre deceased, and to the said Philippa 100 marks a year during her life, and the arrears since 1 July 1 Henry V, on which day the king confirmed letters patent whereby King Richard II granted to John Golafre his knight (now deceased) and the said Philippa from Michaelmas 14 Richard II for their lives and the life of the longest liver 100 marks a year of the issues of that county.
