John de Leventhorp esquire to John Laue citizen and mercer of London. Recognisance for 100l., to be levied etc. of his lands and chattels in Essex. (fn. 1)
Condition for defeasance, in case Joan daughter of John Laue, now wife of John son of John Leventhorp, shall within eight years after Michaelmas last have issue, or if she shall longer live.
Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 100 marks, made in chancery 18 February this year by Thomas Straunge of Warwickshire, John Wele of Derbyshire esquires, Roger Lowe of Staffordshire 'gentilman' and John Ansty of Cambridgeshire 'gentilman,' to have Constance otherwise Joan wife of lord Lestraunge before the king in the quinzaine of Easter, to answer to John Trussell knight for mayhem and breach of the peace.
William Esturmy knight to William Hankeford knight chief justice of the King's Bench, Robert Hulle the elder one of the justices of the Common Bench, Robert Hulle the younger of Spaxton, Robert Erle, John Bryd' and John Benger the younger, their heirs and assigns. Charter with warranty of the manors of Belanye and Pollyng and a messuage and two carucates of land in Lys Sturmy co. Southampton called Whetam, the manors of Axeforde, Stotescombe, Knolle, Crofton Braybeof, Hewyssh, with the advowsons of Hewyssh church and of the free chapel of Crofton, the manor of Wyke Sturmy, two virgates of land called Bonclyf, the bailiwick of the forestership of the 'Westbaylly' within Savernake forest, and 100s. of rent with lands, woods, rents, courts etc. in Hynsete co. Wiltesir. Witnesses: Robert Andrewe, John Wyke, William Hoppegras, Nicholas Wotton, John Uvedale, Richard Wayte, Thomas Walhoppe, Thomas Wayte, Richard Spicer, Richard Walhoppe. Dated Wyke, Monday before the Purification 5 Henry V.

Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 100l., made in chancery 19 February 5 Henry V by John Aberhale esquire, John Dewalle 'gentilman,' both of Dewechurche co. Hereforde, John Wele of Derbyshire esquire and Richard Wynnysley of Wynnesley co. Hereforde 'gentilman' for Walter Harald chaplain and Nicholas his brother, that they shall do or procure no hurt or harm to any of the people, make, lead or procure no unlawful assemblies to the prejudice of the king or disturbance or terror of the people, adhere to no other person for annulment or breach of the rights of holy mother church, nor by themselves or by others secretly or openly maintain any such person in his heretical opinion.
Thomas Barton and Robert Busschye, both of Yorkshire. Agreement for an exchange, witnessing that Thomas Barton shall have for life all the lands etc. in Sylton Paynyll and Kepwyke which he had by gift of Agnes mother of Robert Busschye in her widowhood, that the said Robert shall have of (ex) the said Thomas and Agnes all lands in Thurkylby which she had by feoffment of Robert Busschy sometime her husband, father of Robert her son, that Robert her husband drew (composuit) a feoffment of all his lands in Baroby to Roger de Kepwyke father of the said Agnes and to his heirs, that he died thereof seised, and she remained heir therein, and the said Thomas and Agnes have drawn (composuerunt) a release to Robert the son of all his lands in Thurkylby and Baroby, so that they have delivered the charters to him, that the said Robert has drawn (composuit) to Agnes his mother a release of all his lands in Baggby, which he had by feoffment of certain charters of Thurkylby, writing the same with his own hands, so that he made both releases and sealed them with a single seal, and that Robert the son, by name of Robert Bussy son and heir of Agnes sometime wife of Robert Bussy, has drawn (composuit) to Thomas de Barton for life a quitclaim with warranty (text follows), dated the feast of Corpus Christi 3 Henry V, and witnessed by John de Etton, William de Euere knights, William Danby, John Shipley and Christopher de Boynton, of all the lands, rents and services which the said Thomas holds for life in Sylton Paynell and Kepwyke by demise of the said Agnes; and those witnesses do give testimony that this agreement is true, and for greater security have hereto set their seals. Dated 18 March 5 Henry V.
