Thomas Romesey knight to John Westbury the younger, his heirs and assigns. Gift indented with warranty of the manor of Hulle Deverell co. Wiltesir with appurtenances there late of Emma Dreue, in exchange for two messuages and nine shops in 'Carternstret' and 'Newstret' in the city of New Sarum by John Westbury given to him, his heirs and assigns, situate between a messuage of Henry Preterioue in 'Carternstret' on the north and a cottage of John Assheleygh in 'Newstret' on the east, and for the reversion of a messuage in 'Castlestret' in that city called 'Canvesplace,' now held by Richard Franke and Joan his wife for life of the said Joan, and situate between a cottage of the vicars of the cathedral church of St. Mary on the north and a messuage of John Gawyn the elder on the south. Witnesses: Walter Hungerforde, William Chene, Walter Beauchamp, John Blaket knights, Thomas Bonham, William Dangens, Oliver Cervyngton. Dated New Sarum, the feast of St. Vitalis 5 Henry V.
Memorandum of acknowledgment at New Sarum on the feast of St. Matthias this year before William Cheyne, by virtue of a dedimus potestatem which is on the chancery file for this year.
Vacated, because the acknowledgment was taken without warrant.

John de Bouthe esquire to Geoffrey de Bulde. Recognisance for 700 marks, to be levied etc in Lancashire. (fn. 1)
Condition, that he and all his sons shall abide and perform the award of Richard de Radclyf' knight, Ralph de Radclyf', Richard Shirburne and Nicholas Blundell in respect of all actions real and personal and all disputes between the parties and all their sons, so that the same be made before the Purification next, and if they make it not, the award of Peter de Massey, so that it be made before the last day of the session next holden at Lancastre.
