Letter of attorney, appointing them to give Robert Betryche and John Taylour of Baunebury chaplains seisin of all the lands, rents, reversions and services etc. in Bourton, Wardyngton, Eynesham, Witteney, 'Wode Eton,' Baunebury, Nethrop, Fynmere co. Hereforde, with the park, mill, rents, services, free warren, fishery in the river Dore, view of frankpledge, knights' fees, and the advowson of the free chapel of the castle to the same pertaining, all which the grantors, with Thomas Hevyn now deceased, had by gift of John Chaundos knight. Condition, that he shall abide the award of William Bykebery, John Crokker of Lynham and John Boson, chosen on behalf of John Lasse and Agnes his wife and of John Burlegh, or two of them, touching all debates between the parties, especially concerning a messuage and 5 acres of land in Badeston concerning which, as attorney of John Lasse and Agnes, John Burlegh did acknowledge the plaintiff's action upon a writ of formedon en le remanere prosecuted against them before the justices of the Common Bench by Thomas Ferrers of Devon esquire; and that if no such award be made he shall appear before the council five weeks after Easter next touching a bill against him presented in the council by John Lasse and Agnes, and shall not absent himself without licence of the council until dismissed.
