July 7.
Westminster.
To the escheator in Essex. Order in presence of the next friends of Richard son and heir of Thomas Coggeshale esquire, or of their attorneys, to assign dower to Beatrice who was wife of the said Thomas, of whom the king has taken an oath etc. (fn. 1)
July 15.
Westminster.
To the escheator in Bukinghamshire. Order to take of Margery who was wife of William Argentem an oath etc., and in presence of the farmers of her husband's lands, or of their attorneys, to assign her dower. (fn. 1)
To the escheator in Hertfordshire. Like order in favour of the said Margery of whom the king has commanded the escheator in Bukinghamshire to take an oath etc. (fn. 1)
July 23.
Westminster.
To the escheator in Middlesex. Order to give Richard brother and heir of Miles son and heir of Brian Wyndesore seisin of his father's lands, and of those held in dower or otherwise for life by Clarice Yorke who was wife of Richard Wyndesore, and in fee tail or otherwise for life by Alice who was wife of the said Brian of the heritage of Richard brother of Miles, the said Miles having died within age in ward of the late king; as he has proved his age before the escheator, and the king has taken his fealty, and for 40s. paid in the hanaper has respited his homage until Christmas day next. (fn. 1)
To the escheator in Berkshire. Like order; as for a fine paid in the hanaper the king has respited the homage of the said Richard (as above). (fn. 2)

July 22.
Westminster.
To the escheator in Norhamptonshire. Order in presence of the next friends of Edmund brother and heir of Thomas Pyrly, or of their attorneys, to assign dower to Thomas Russell and Amy who was wife of Thomas Pirly; as for a fine paid in the hanaper the king has pardoned the trespass of Thomas Russell in taking her to wife, and her trespass in marrying him without licence of the king. (fn. 2)
Like writ to the escheator in Leycestershire.
