To H. archbishop of Canterbury. Summons to a parliament to be holden at Westminster on 20 October next, with the clause premunientes. By p.s.
Like writs to H. archbishop of York, J. bishop of London, R. bishop of Lincoln and the bishop of Rochester or in their absence to their respective vicars general, N. bishop of Bath and Wells, fourteen other bishops, of whom the bishop of St. Asaph is not named, and to the guardian of the spirituality of the bishopric of Bangor during the vacancy of that see.

John Craweley citizen and 'armourer' of London to William Anable, William Pedder of Dunstaple co. Bedford and John Flete citizen and 'brouderer' of London, their heirs, executors and assigns. Gift with warranty of all his goods and chattels quick and dead, moveable and immovable, his property and debts of what kind and in whose hands soever in the city of London, within the realm and on either side the sea. Witnesses: William Lynne, William Tiller, William Johansone, John Lagnelle, Richard Glasier. Dated London, 5 October 2 Henry VI.

William Lynne is sent to the abbot and convent of Wobourne co. Bedford, to take of that house such maintenance as Thomas Segge and Juliana his wife in their life time had at request of King Richard II. By p.s.

James lord of Berkeley to Richard de Bello Campo earl of Warrewyk. Recognisance for 10,000 marks, to be levied etc. in Gloucestershire.
Condition, that he shall abide and perform the decree, declaration and award of Philip bishop of Worcester, John Tiptoft knight, William Babyngton and William Cheyne, or three of them and John June instead of the absent one, touching all articles needing declaration contained in two indentures between the parties, with proviso that the arbitrators shall not meddle in taking any security of any manors and lands in those indentures specified, or of the manors of Wotton, Portebury, Cerney and Cernecote; also touching all actions, plaints, rights, titles, debates and demands between the parties in respect of their servants and of any other matter heretofore pending between them, except a dispute between their men and servants concerning an affray at Hamersmyth co. Middlesex and an assault and battery there, which was submitted to the duke of Gloucestre, with proviso that the award shall be made before Christmas next; or else that the said James shall die before Allhallows next.
Memorandum that this recognisance and condition were taken by John earl marshal and earl of Notyngham by a writ.
