Peter Carswelle of Hadle co. Suffolk 'husbondman' to John Feriby the elder. Recognisance for 20l., to be levied etc. in Suffolk.
Condition, that he shall pay 100s. on Easter day next, 100s. on Michaelmas day following, 100s. on Easter day following and 100s. on Michaelmas day following.
John de Lisle of Woditon and Richard Parkere to John Chyke and John Roucle and to the heirs male of the body of John Chyke, with reversion after the death of John Roucle to John de Lisle and his heirs. Charter indented of the manor and advowson of Moteston in the Isle of Wight, except a meadow called 'Longemede' lying in breadth between the grantors' close of 'Southmour' on the south and the common field of the tenants on the north, and in length between a close of meadow called the 'Park' on the west and a meadow sometime of John Ocle on the east. Charter of his meadow in Moteston in the Isle of Wight called 'Longemede' (bounded as above), heretofore parcel of the manor of Moteston which John Roucle had jointly with John Parelle by feoffment of John Chyke, save always that John Roucle, his heirs and assigns, being tenants of the said manor, shall in time of war for themselves and the grantees do the whole service due for the manor and meadow in defence of the island.
