Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 10,000 marks, made in chancery 17 May 5 Henry VI by Lawrence de Monte Rupiano, Alexander de Farentinis and all the fellowship of the Albertini, Paul Milian, Stephen Turneboun, Ubertinus de Bardes, Dominicus de Villanis fellow of Janosius and of Anthony de Albertis, George [son] of Nicholas Lucy, Dominicus Thomas factor of Galiazius de Bouromeis and his fellows, Tot Makeavelle, Francis Siraylle factor of Philip de Albertis and Francis Bandy for John de Opicis nuncio of the pope, to have him before the king and council in the octaves of St. John Baptist next, and from day to day whensoever the lords of the council shall please, until by their advice and assent he shall be dismissed.

Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 200l., made in chancery 2 June this year by William Clerke 'skynner,' Thomas Pope 'draper,' Simon Pytevyn 'brewer,' Matthew Boston 'corsour' and Stephen Partriche 'gentilman,' all of London, for Thomas Whitehede of Gloucestre 'gentilman,' and of an undertaking by him under a pain of 300l., for his good behaviour toward the king and the whole people, and that he shall appear in person before the king and council upon one month's warning to him or any of his mainpernors, to answer, if the king will implead him, wherefore he left the king's service contrary to his retainer.
Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 20l., made in chancery 12 May this year by Richard Hore of Herefordshire clerk, Robert Turbervyle of Kyngesbere co. Recognisance for 1,000 marks, to be levied etc. in Lincolnshire.
Condition, that William Cromwelle and Walter Tailboys and any other feoffees of the manor of Thedilthorp by them made or to their use or claiming title or interest therein or in any parcel thereof shall abide and perform the award of John bishop of Bath and Wells, Ralph Cromwelle lord of Tateshale, William Cheyne the chief justice, William Babyngton chief justice of the Common Bench knights, Robert Tirwhit and John Cokayn justices, chosen to arbitrate between William Cromwelle and Walter and the feoffees aforesaid and John Kyghley knight and his feoffees in respect of all possessions, titles, rights, claims and demands in the said manor, and all actions real and personal now or hereafter moved between them concerning the same before or after judgment rendered in favour of the said Walter, William Cromwelle and others in assizes of novel disseisin against John Kyghley and others, such judgments notwithstanding, so that the award be made before the quinzaine of Michaelmas next and shall be executed in chancery so far as the same may be executed in a court of record, and there enrolled of record within one month after the award be given, and that they and their feoffees etc. shall not meddle in the manor until then. Proviso that if not enrolled the awards shall be null and void, and that if any of the arbitrators shall die, or will not or may not attend to the business, another of like estate and degree shall be chosen by the party by which he was chosen.

Thomas bishop of Durham and Master Richard Witton, master of the college of the Great Hall of the University Oxford. Indenture witnessing that on 20 May 5 Henry VI at his inn by 'Charryng Crosse' the bishop delivered to the master certain evidences affecting the college, namely letters patent of King Henry IV confirming certain ordinances of the college, a charter whereby Thomas late archbishop of Canterbury and Richard Waldegrave knight made a demise and surrender to the said king, his heirs and assigns, of the manor of Rothynge Margarete co. Essex, a writing whereby Joan de Bohun countess of Hereforde Essex and Norhampton, Richard Waldegrave, William Marny knights, Robert de Teye, Richard Withermerssh, Robert Rikedoun and John Bernarde made a quitclaim to the said king of the manor of Rothynge Margarete otherwise Rothynge Marcy, and another whereby the said countess and the others made a quitclaim thereof to the master and scholars of the said college.
