Condition, that the mayor and commonalty of that town,
Lawrence de Standysshe and Alexander de Standysshe shall
abide and perform the award of Thomas bishop of Durham
touching all actions, debates, claims and plaints between them
and William de Langton parson of Wygan by reason of the
pretorium or house called 'the Mothalle' of Wygan, or any
liberties which the said parson has or claims, or which the mayor
and commonalty have or claim within the town, so that the same
be made before Michaelmas next, and in case none be by him
made, the award of William Babyngton knight, chief justice of
the Common Bench, and William Chaunterell, so that their award
be made before Christmas day next. |

Memorandum of acknowledgment in chancery at Westminster,

Robert Wotton of Croydoun co. Surrey and Joan his wife, who
was wife of John Olyver of Croydoun, to John Sirre, Robert
Sharshulle, Alexander Bartillot and William Coumbys, whom
Stephen Bartillot citizen and glover of London has made his
executors. Confirmation of their estate during the term hereinafter mentioned in a messuage with two mills and other the
gardens and meadow adjacent in the parish of St. Olave Suthwerk,
as enclosed with ditches, a yearly rent of 30s. to be taken of a
croft of pasture called 'Dunleysfelde' lying on the south side of
'Horshighdoun' in the said parish, now held of the grantors by
Thomas Felawe for the life of the said Joan, the reversion of the
said croft after her death, another yearly rent of 4s. to be taken of
a garden adjoining 'Horshighdoun' on the west and a tenement
of Henry Yevele, which garden the said Stephen has for a term of
years, and the reversion of the garden after the end of that term,
all demised to farm to the said Stephen, his heirs and assigns, for
a term of a hundred years by the said Robert and Joan and by
William Olyver and Robert Olyver sons of the said John Olyver,
by charter dated Suthwerk 29 January 21 Richard II; and
grant of licence to make waste therein without impeachment.
