Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 20l., made in chancery 26 September this year by Henry Perpount of Wodehous co. Notyngham knight, Geoffrey Holme of Henore co. Derby 'gentilman,' Roger Hunte 'gentilman' and Edmund Whetheley 'corvyser,' both of Notyngham, for Geoffrey Kneveton of Notyngham 'courtholder,' and of an undertaking by him under a pain of 40l., that he shall do or procure no hurt or harm to any of the people.

Thomas Chitwode, son of John Chitwode, to William Boerley of Bromcroft, John Wynnesbury and Thomas Mordeforde, their heirs and assigns. Quitclaim with warranty of all the lands, rents, reversions and services in Norton in Hales co. Salop, and of Okeley mill co. Stafford, late of John his father. Simon Campe esquire and Robert Pede citizen and baker of London to John Spreuer the elder, John White and Thomas Bolyn, their heirs and assigns. Quitclaim of two tenements with two shops and appurtenances in the parish of Melton in their possession, namely between a tenement sometime of John Galoun called the 'Crowne' on the north, a tenement called 'Damanneyshalle' on the south, land of the lord of Parroke on the east and the high street on the west as divided by metes and bounds, parcel of the lands, rents and services, marshes etc. in Gravesende and Melton which William Galoun the elder of the parish of Gravesende co. Kent had, and by charter gave to William Sevenoke, William Cambrigge citizens and merchants of London, the said Simon and Robert and to John Fawcoun citizen and cordwainer of London now deceased, their heirs and assigns, William Sevenoke and William Cambrigge having made a quitclaim of the whole to the said Simon and Robert, their heirs and assigns. Condition, that John Wadeluffe, John Burgh and John Walker of Ripoun 'walkers' shall upon reasonable warning to them or to John Whixley and William Frankes appear in person before the archbishop's council at Ripoun at a set day by the council appointed, to answer touching alleged grievances and trespasses by them committed against the archbishop.

Essex called 'Newhalle,' and two thirds of all lands, rents and services thereto belonging, which the grantors had jointly by feoffment of Thomas Coggeshale son and heir of Thomas Coggeshale of Borham esquire; and grant of the reversion of the third part thereof, now held by John Pyeshale and Beatrice his wife who was wife of Thomas Coggeshale the son in her right, with reversion to the grantors.
