Order to cease every excuse, and at his peril to be present with all speed at the parliament summoned at Westminster on 8 July last, and for particular causes prorogued until the quinzaine of Michaelmas last; as the bishop delayed to be present that day and is yet delaying. Like writs to Th. (sic) bishop of Landaff, two other bishops, the abbot of Peterborough, seventeen other abbots, the prior of Coventre, Henry earl of Northumberland, two other earls, James Berkeley knight and twelve others, all styled knight.

Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 20l., made in chancery 11 November this year by Richard Blyke of 'Stretton dale' co. Salop 'gentilman,' Richard Sambroke of Compton co. Somerset 'gentilman,' Ralph Litilcote of Litilcote co. Wiltesir 'gentilman' and Thomas Tregodeke of Lanceton co. Cornwall 'gentilman' for Robert Nowell, and of an undertaking by him under a pain of 40l., that he shall do or procure no hurt or harm to Walter Johnson.

Hugh Asshebury of Guldeforde to the king. Recognisance for 100l., to be levied etc. in Surrey.
Condition, that he shall appear in chancery in the quinzaine of St. Hilary next, bringing with him all charters, evidences and muniments in his keeping concerning lands in Guldeforde and elsewhere in Surrey which were of John Clypsham deceased, and ought to pertain to Agnes wife of John Fontaignes esquire daughter of the said John, and that he shall abide all orders of the court.

Condition, that he shall safe keep certain goods, jewels and household utensils of John Clipsham, by him bequeathed to Alice his wife for life, which came to the said Hugh's hands after her death, not selling, aliening, eloigning, withdrawing, destroying or concealing the same, until it shall be proved and found whether they ought to pertain to the said Hugh or to the said John's executors.

Thomas Depenham, son and heir of John Depenham of Sawston co. Cantebrigge, to Thomas Lokton the younger, his heirs and assigns. Quitclaim with warranty of all the lands, rents and services of John his father in Sawston, Badburgham, Pampisworth and Wyttelesforde. Dated 4 February 12 Henry VI.

Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 200l., made in chancery 9 February this year by William Pole, earl of Suffolk, John Harpure of Rysshale co. Stafford and John Bayous of Conynton co. Huntingdon for Thomas Mulsho, that he shall appear in chancery a month after Easter to find security for keeping the peace toward Morgan Phelip and William Fisshe, and shall do or procure them no hurt or harm.
Marginal note, that he did appear at that day, and Morgan Phelip being there present freely made a release of such security; and that after, on 4 May this year, William Fisshe did there appear in person, and make a like release.
Robert son and heir of John Poghull to Master Roger Bolter precentor of the cathedral church of St. Peter Exeter, Thomas Carmynowe esquire, John Mulys, John Wolston, John Waye and John Wode, their heirs and assigns. Charter with warranty of the manor of Poghull, and all other his messuages, lands, reversions, rents and services within the parish of Poghull. Request to admit to their house Thomas Franke, one of the clerks in the office of the privy seal of the king and the late king, whom with advice and assent of the council the king is sending to them in consideration of his good and unpaid service no small time, and to minister to him for life such corrody or maintenance within the abbey as Thomas Tunbrygge esquire deceased had, with houses or a dwelling within the same which Thomas Tunbrygge or any other heretofore possessor of such corrody by gift or command of former kings had, and other rights, profits, commodities etc. thereto pertaining, making him letters patent under their common seal with mention of what he shall take, and writing again by the bearer what they will do.
