To the abbot and convent of St. Mary York. Nomination of William Hambalde to receive the pension wherein by reason of the abbot's new creation they are bound to one of the king's clerks, until by them provided with a benefice. By p.s. [4410.]

Easthampstead manor.
To the prior and convent of Daventre. Order to take again letters patent by them made to Robert Stokke concerning a corrody which he has in that priory, to admit to their house John Hille the king's serjeant, groom of the saucery for the king's mouth, and minister to him such maintenance as the said Robert had, making him letters patent under the common seal of the house with mention of what he shall take, and writing again by the bearer what they will do; as Robert Stokke is minded to give up his letters to the end that the king may grant that corrody to John Hille, and for his good service the king has sent the said John to them.
