Westminster.
William Cooke of Stratton to William Pet. Recognisance for 20l., to be levied etc. in Bedfordshire.
Condition, that before the octaves of St. Hilary next he and John Henxteworth of Asshewelle shall make William Byndill or other his nominees an estate in the moiety of a messuage and 7 acres of land in Henxteworth purchased by William Byndill of Richard Homan, as he or his counsel shall advise, or by their advice shall make a release thereof to William Byndill and his heirs, or to his nominees.

Westminster.
John Aleyn citizen and mercer of London to John Holande esquire. Recognisance for 30l., to be levied etc. in the city of London.
Condition, that he shall pay 30l. wherein he is bound to John Holande by a recognisance made in chancery, or else John Holande shall take that sum by a yearly rent of 3l. to him granted by charter of John Aleyn, dated 19 November 18 Henry VI, to be taken of all the grantor's lands etc. in the city of Exeter, or that he shall take of the said rent some part thereof, and shall by John Aleyn be contented of the residue.
