Westminster.
To the keeper of the forest of Galtres or his deputy there for the time being. Order to pay to Thomas Carre the king's serjeant 4l. 4s. 8½d. a year for life and the arrears since 26 March 15 Henry VI; as the king lately granted to him for life from that date the office of keeper of his herbage within the said forest called Gresselee, to be occupied by himself or by deputy, taking therein 4l. 4s. 8½d. a year of the issues, profits, revenues, etc. of the forest at the feast of St. Peter and St. Paul by the hands of the keeper thereof or his deputy, notwithstanding that by grant of the king he has jointly with William Kempe the office of keeper of the king's wardrobe within Westminster palace, with wages of 6d. a day for themselves, 3d. a day for one groom under them, and 13s. 4d. a year for a gown for their lives and the life of the longest liver, and jointly with John Rysby the office of keeper of the palace at Westminster called 'Princes Paloys' with wages of 3d. a day for their lives and the life of the longest liver.

To the mayor and bailiffs for the time being of Dublin in Ireland. Order to pay to the prior and convent of the Cathedral church of Holy Trinity Dublin 20l. a year of the fee farm of that city which the king has granted them for a term of twenty years.
