Richard Moreton, John Grummesdoun, each of Cornwall 'gentilman,' Richard Langforde of Devon 'gentilman,' Richard Rolande (Rolonde) and Thomas Poyle, each of Cornwall 'yoman,' to Thomas Gyffarde. Recognisance for 500l., to be levied etc. in Cornwall.
Condition, that they and John Perys, John Ropchyn, John Smyth, Roger Lugge, William Leyne, William Reve, John Garde, William Baye, Richard Schirma and Isabel who was wife of William Forde shall abide and perform the award of Alexander Hody, the arbitrator chosen by common assent of the parties, touching all actions, plaints, offences, demands etc. between Richard Moreton, John Perys and the others and Thomas Gyffarde and Willelma his wife to that date, provided always that the same be made in writing indented under his seal, and one part delivered to Thomas Gyffarde and the other to Richard Moreton before the feast of St. Peter and St. Paul next.
Thomas Caly citizen and grocer of London to Robert Gayton citizen and grocer of London, Thomas Bukke of the chancery and Nicholas Stanhowe, their executors and assigns. Gift with warranty of all his goods and chattels moveable and immovable, quick and dead, his property, merchandise and wares in London and elsewhere within the realm and oversea, and all debts to him due.
