To the escheator in Roteland. Order in presence of Richard duke of York, Joyce late the wife of John lord Typtoft and Henry Grey knight, or of their attorneys, to make a partition of the knights' fees and parts of fees hereinafter mentioned, and to give them seisin of their purparties, sending the partition to be enrolled in chancery; as of all the knights' fees and parts of fees held in dower and otherwise for life by Joan late countess of Kent after the death of Thomas earl of Kent her husband of the heritage of the said duke, being son and heir of Anne one of the daughters and heirs of Eleanor the first sister and heir of Edmund earl of Kent brother and heir of the said Thomas, the said Joyce a second daughter and heir of the said Eleanor, and the said Henry being son and heir of Joan her third daughter, and also of John earl of Somerset, being son and heir of Margaret duchess of Clarence the second sister and heir of the said Edmund, Alice wife of Richard earl of Salisbury, being daughter and heir of Eleanor his third sister, and Ralph earl of Westmerland, being son and heir of Elizabeth his fourth sister, with assent of John Wygmore attorney of the duke of York, Thurstain Banastre attorney of the said Joyce, Thomas Englissh attorney of the said Henry, Robert Tanfelde attorney of the earl of Somerset, John Bere attorney of the earl of Salisbury and the said Alice, and William Overton attorney of the earl of Westmerland, the king has assigned to the said duke, Joyce and Henry one knight's fee in Bergh and Wenton sometime held by Lawrence Sherard and extended at 100s. a year, the moiety of one knight's fee in Allesthorp lately held by the heirs of John Durant at 50s., the moiety of one knight's fee in Wissenden lately held by John Hellwell at 50s., all in Roteland, assigning to them also one knight's fee in Grymmyscote sometime held by Philip Dautre at 100s., one knight's fee in Blisworth sometime held by Thomas Wake at 100s., two knights' fees in Cotes, Shelton, Neuton, Hadgraffe, Fylgraffe and Lathbury sometime held by the heirs of Richard Chamberleyn, by William Mallory knight, Robert Peyure, the abbot of Lavenden and William Thirnyng at 10l., the moiety of one knight's fee in Welforde sometime held by John Lovett at 50s., all in Norhamptonshire, the moiety of one knight's fee in Willesthorp lately held by the heirs of John Mortymer at 50s., the moiety of one knight's fee in Hykeham and Wysseby lately held by the heirs of John Megre and formerly by Baldwin Waspart at nought, and one knight's fee in Swynstede co. Lincoln now held by the abbot of Vaudey and extended at nought.
To the escheator in Norhamptonshire. Like order concerning the knights' fees and moiety (above mentioned) in Grymmyscote, Blysworth, in Cotes, Shelton, Neuton, Hadgraffe, Fylgraffe and Lathbury, and in Welforde; tenants and extents (as above).
To the escheator in Lincolnshire. Like order concerning the knight's fee and moieties (above mentioned) in Willesthorp, in Hykeham and Wysseby, and in Swynstede; tenants and extents (as above).
