Oct. 22.
Westminster.
To the farmers or occupiers of the manor of Bollesoure otherwise Bollesovere co. Derby for the time being. Order to pay to William Myners esquire and William his son 20 marks a year for their lives and the life of the longest liver, and the arrears for Easter and Michaelmas terms last; as by letters patent of 27 March last, for good and unpaid service of William Myners to the late king and to himself, and of William his son to himself, the king granted them for their lives etc. 20 marks a year of the issues and profits of that manor arising.

Westminster.
To the collectors of customs in the port of Suthampton for the time being. Order to pay to Thomas Adam, late master of a ship called 'cok John' of Charburgh wherein the queen crossed to England, 20 marks a year for life and the arrears since 29 June last, on which day John William seaman died; as for his good service to the queen in her passage by letters patent of 9 June 23 Henry VI the king granted to the said Thomas for life after the decease of the said John 20 marks a year of the customs in that port.
Nov. 6.
Westminster.
To the chief butler for the time being, or to his representative in the port of Suthampton. Order every year at mid Lent to deliver to the abbot and convent of Netley (loci Sancti Edwardi) one tun of wine and to deliver to them the arrears for mid Lent last; of his alms King Henry [III] by charter, confirmed by the king, granted to the abbot and convent and to their successors one tun a year at mid Lent of his prise of Suthamton for the service of the mass. (fn. 2)

Westminster.
To the sheriff of Hereford for the time being. Order to pay to Roland Leynthale knight, his heirs and assigns, 20l. a year and to pay him the arrears thereof; as by letters patent of 3 June 20 Henry VI the king granted to the said Roland, his heirs and assigns, 20l. a year of the issues, profits and revenues of that county.
Nov. 3.
Westminster.
To the mayor and bailiffs of Hereford for the time being. Order to pay to Roland Leynthale the king's knight and Roland Leynthale esquire his son 40l. a year during their lives and the life of the longest liver, and the arrears since Easter 24 Henry VI; as by letters patent of 22 May that year for good and unpaid service the king granted to them for their lives etc. from Easter then last 40l. a year of the fee farm of that city.
Sept. 29.
Westminster.
To the sheriff of Lincoln for the time being. Order to pay to William Foljambe 10l. a year for life which for good service the king has granted him of the issues, profits, commodities and revenues of that county by the hands of the sheriff or of any other person for a time holding office for him. To Ancelm Hebbyng of New Salisbury 'skynner.' Order without delay, under a pain of 100l., to deliver to William Wheler otherwise Bacon a bond in 20l. or an acquittance for the same, or else to be in chancery in the quinzaine of St. Martin next to hear judgment in that behalf, bringing with him the said bond and this writ; as the said William was bound to him in 20l. for a debt of 10l., and has paid the 10l., as appears by an examination taken by command of the king before John Port mayor of New Salisbury and others and returned in chancery; but the said Ancelm is keeping the bond, and unlawfully troubling him for the 20l.

To the bailiffs of Kyngeston upon Thames for the time being. Order every year to pay to John Bury the king's servant, yeoman usher of his hall and keeper of his park of Shene, 2d. a day for life to find repair in pales and hedges, and a house for the king's deer there with hay and other feed in the hard time of winter, and to pay him the arrears thereof since 24 July last, on which date the king granted him for life for those purposes 2d. a day of the fee farm, profits etc. of the town of Kyngeston without rendering account save only upon his oath.

Westminster.
Order to the sheriff of Huntingdon for election of a coroner instead of William Walssheff, who is insufficiently qualified.
