John Asschefeld citizen and grocer of London to Richard Lee, Richard Philippe citizens and grocers, Richard Lockewod, John Astan citizens and saddlers, all of London, William Redston, William Burton and Richard Tyngilden 'gentilmen,' their executors and assigns. Gift of all his goods and chattels and all debts to him due; and he has put them in possession thereof by delivery of one cup of mazer (mazer') price 26s. Witnesses: William Porter, John Langton, John West, William Herun, John Brozton citizens of London. Dated London, 8 October 29 Henry VI.

William Lee citizen and grocer of London, son and heir of Juliana daughter and heir of Thomas son and heir of Thomas de Borstall brother of James de Borstalle to Thomas Gay the elder citizen of London, John Nayler 'gentilman' and John Hardy and to the heirs and assigns of Thomas Gay. Confirmation and quitclaim with warranty of all the lands, dovecote, rents and services in Plumstede and the parish of the same and in Wykham and Borstall co. Kent which were of the said Juliana, and which they have by his charter indented and quitclaim, with wards, fees, woods, underwoods, waters, stanks, fisheries, escheats, gardens, hedges, ditches, courts, suits of court etc. thereto pertaining, subject to a condition for annulment of the said charter and quitclaim if William Lee should pay to Thomas Gay or his attorney, his heirs or executors 42l. 13s. 4d. and 5l. 6s. 8d. on or before the eve of St. Bartholomew next in the church of St. Dunstan 'Fletestrete' in the suburb of London, not alleging any acquittance or payment elsewhere made, and acknowledgment that Thomas Gay has this day paid him 5l. 6s. 8d. over and above the said two sums which amount to 48l., as full payment of the value of the said lands etc. amounting to 80 marks; with condition for defeasance of this writing if William Lee or any other in his name shall on or before the eve of St. Bartholomew pay 80 marks in the said church to Thomas Gay or his attorney, his heirs or executors, not alleging any acquittance or payment elsewhere made. Dated 8 January 29 Henry VI.
