Westminster.
John Norffolk of Stebenhithe co. Middlesex merchant, John Norffolk of Istilworth 'yoman,' William Blakker of the parish of St. Dunstan in the 'Est' London 'grocer' and Thomas Brothorton of the parish of Allhallows Berkyng London merchant to the king. Recognisance for 100l., to be levied etc. in the city and county aforesaid.
Condition, that the said John Norffolk, to whom by letters patent of 11 April the king gave licence to repair to Danmark, Norwey and Islond with a ship of 120 tuns burden or less, there to lade the same with whatsoever merchandise etc. he shall please, and to return therewith to England, shall within one month after his return bring into chancery letters patent under seal of the king of Denmark witnessing that with that king's licence and good will he did repair to those parts with that ship to procure fish and other merchandise etc. there procurable.

Suthampton late of Peter Consowde and John Ernton clerks, which ought to remain to the grantor after the death of John Crosse 'wexchaundeller' of Suthwerk and Alice his wife, if she shall die without issue male. Confirmation with warranty during the life of Robert Aubrey of their estate in the manor and advowson of Southmorton co. Berkshire, 30s. of rent in Westwittenham, and all other lands in the town (sic) or parishes of Southmorton and Westwittenham which, by charter indented of 4 June 23 Henry VI, Henry Husey knight, father of the said Henry, gave to them and to Peter Ideley esquire during the life of the said Robert, and Henry the son, Nicholas Husey his brother, Thomas Leuesham, Richard Betirley esquire, John Lynge, John Lely and Edmund atte Mille did confirm their estate therein. Will of William Sperlyng, reciting that Andrew Sperlyng his father was enfeoffed in the manor of Crendon with Thomas Chawcers, John Golafre esquires and Eustace Waldryan of London salter by Arthur Ormesby and others to them and the heirs of Andrew, that Andrew and Thomas died leaving John and Eustace, who by 'surwywour' continued their possession, that at his request they granted to Richard Quatremayns esquire, John Melborn, William Fouler and Thomas Clerk of Ichynden now living and Thomas Cokeyn and others now dead their estate in the said manor, and that he by deed released to them and their heirs, and for certain sums to him and by them for him paid, willing that they grant him an annuity of 10l. or else the yearly value of the manor for life with a clause of distress, that John Melborne, William Fouler and Thomas Clerk after at the will of Richard release by deed their right and interest in the manor to Richard Quatremayns to the intent that he might grant the same, among other his lands etc., to the wardens of the fraternity and gild of Seynt Cristofer in Thame co. Oxynford and their successors in part sustentation of certain charges, as by Richard Quartermayns, Sibyll his wife or their executors as in certain statutes shall be ordained by the advice of Richard. Suthampton, and all other lands, woods, rents, services, reversions etc. in Brouke, Hunfredeston, More, Moteston, Fresshewater, Chelton, Hamstede, Shussheforde, Northwode, Godyton, Wraxhale, Caresbroke, Newport, Fayrle and Kete in the said isle, all which the grantors and Thomas Bowreman had by charter of John Roucle to them, their heirs and assigns; also of all the lands etc. in Upsombourne, Litelsombourne, Stokebrygge, Sharpryx and Lemyngton co.
