John Burton of Barnet co. Hertford, late of the parish of St. Martin in the Fields by 'Charyngcrosse' co. Middlesex 'brewer,' to John Lyon of Barnet 'yoman,' his executors and assigns. Gift of all his goods and chattels in Barnet and elsewhere within the realm. Dated 4 July, 36 Henry VI.

Charter indented with warranty of all lands, rents, reversions and services in Chesthunt, Waltham Holy Cross and elsewhere in Hertfordshire sometime of John Hoton, which the grantors had jointly by demise of John Leventhorp esquire and Richard Boys; and appointment of John Blecche and Walter Norwych as attorneys to give them seisin.
