Westminster.
Thomas de Scales, Nicholas Veer of Essex, Thomas Tudenham of Norfolk knights, and William Ewen, to Charles Giles of Luca. Recognisance for 100 marks, to be levied etc. in the counties aforesaid.
Condition, that the said William shall appear in chancery in the quinzaine of St. Martin next, and render himself to the Flete prison, in case he shall not meantime have agreed with the said Charles touching all actions, pleas, matters, debates and demands between them pending.

Condition, that he shall appear in person before the king and council at the octaves of the Purification next, and meantime shall do or procure no hurt or harm to the said Thomas, his tenants and servants.
Cancelled for that he did so appear, and the said Thomas did then release his security for keeping the peace.
