Sept. 27.
Westminster.
William Wode of Clyfton, to Thomas Wesenham of Suthwerk co. Surrey 'brewer.' Recognisance for 40l., to be levied etc. in Bedfordshire.
Condition, that he shall pay 26s. 8d. on Midsummer day next, 26s. 8d. on Christmas day following, and so year by year until 19l. be paid.
John de Talscoys, son and heir of Richard de Talscoys, and Joan his wife, to John Beauchamp the elder, his heirs and assigns. Charter with warranty of all messuages, lands, a dovecote, gardens, easements etc. in wet and dry in the towns and places of Deverell and Talscoys. Witnesses: John Arundell esquire sheriff of Cornwall, Thomas Bodulgate, Nicholas Carmynowe esquires, Robert Wolvedon, John Thomas. Dated Bynnerton, 27 April, 36 Henry VI.
John de Talscoys (as above), and Joan his wife, to Alexander Kenygy and James Beauchamp. Letter of attorney, appointing them to give John Beauchamp the elder seisin of messuages, lands, dovecote etc. in Deverell and Talscoys. Dated (as the last).
John Talscoys, son and heir of Richard Talscoys, to John Beauchamp the elder, his heirs and assigns. Quitclaim with warranty of all messuages, lands, rents, services etc. in Deverell and Talscoys co. Cornwall where he is in possession. Witnesses: Thomas Bodulgate, Nicholas Carmynowe esquires, Robert Wolvedon, Thomas Lymbery, John Roland. Dated 9 October, 37 Henry VI.
Memorandum of acknowledgment of the foregoing charter, letter and writing, 4 November this year.
