Westminster.
Thomas Gower of Clopham co. Surrey esquire, to the king. Recognisance for 600 marks, to be levied etc. in Surrey.
Condition, that Richard Gower his son shall appear in person in chancery one month after Easter next to answer touching what shall be laid against him, and for his good behaviour meantime toward the king and all the people, doing or procuring no hurt nor harm to any.
John Passhele of Thevegate co. Kent esquire, to the king. Recognisance for 200 marks, to be levied etc. in Kent.
Like condition in regard to the said Richard.
John Gower of Clopham esquire, to the king. Recognisance for 100 marks, to be levied etc. in Surrey

Note, that the said Richard did that day appear; and for that during four days divers proclamations were made for any who would give the serjeants at law or the king's attorney information wherefore he ought not to be dismissed, and no man came nor was aught said, he was by the chancellor dismissed quit without a day.
John Borne of Wiltesir 'gentilman,' to George Darell and John Wroughton esquires, their heirs and assigns. Charter with warranty of the manor of 'Westchaldefeld' and all his lands, rents, reversions and services in Wiltesir; and gift of all his goods and chattels. Witnesses: Edmund Hungerford, John Beynton knights, Thomas Walrond, Thomas Tropenell, Richard Hasard. Dated 12 February, 33 Henry VI.
John Borne (as above) to John Cobley and Robert Spencer. Letter of attorney, appointing them to give George Darell and John Wroughton livery of the manor of 'Westchaldefeld' and all his lands etc. in Wiltesir. Witnesses and date (as the last).
