March 10. Indenture between John Isle, and Thomas kinsman and heir of Henry Maplesden of Benyngden co. Kent, whereby Thomas has bargained with John, that he and all others having interest to the use of Thomas in the manor of Chipsted and other lands and tenements in Chevenyng co. Kent, sometime of John Chipstede, shall before Easter next make estate to John of the same: for which John will pay Thomas Maplesdon 200 marks by instalments, if he be not put out by John Wylkes, and thus cause the title of Thomas to be defeated: in which case the 100l. residue shall not be paid. English.
