To the treasurer and the barons of the exchequer. Writ of supersedeas in favour of the warden and canons of the king's chapel of Wyndesore in respect of their demand for the tenth last granted to the king by the clergy of the province of Canterbury upon their churches and benefices, and the demand of the collectors of the tenth and fifteenth granted by the laity in the last parliament upon their lands, rents, goods or chattels, and order to release any sequestration or distress made for that cause; as the late king by charter, confirmed by the king, granted the warden and canons and their successors that the churches and benefices to them appropriated, their lands, rents and goods should not be taxed, assessed or tallied whensoever the clergy should grant the king a tenth or other quota of their spiritualities, or the commons a tenth, fifteenth or other quota or tax of their goods or lands, nor should aught be levied of them for tenths, fifteenths or other quotas or tallages, nor should they be distrained or troubled concerning the same.
