June 15.
Westminster.
To the mayor and bailiffs of Sandewich. Order, upon petition made on behalf of Herman Encorne of Daventer and Herman Quaunt of Campen', if they be of Estland and of the king's friendship, to dearrest them, their ship and merchandise, suffering them to pass towards Estland, and if there be any cause wherefore that ought not to be done, order to certify it in chancery without delay; as that petition shews that on their voyage to Estland they were arrested at sea off Lescluse by the admirals of the king's fleet with their ship and merchandise, and were brought to Sandewich; and the king reckons them of Estland to be of his friendship.
